Hand wash with cool water and mild soap, then air dry on a rounded surface (a clean bowl or hat form works well) to maintain the crown shape. Do not machine wash or machine dry — heat and agitation can shrink the crown and distort the brim. Spot clean sweat marks on the inner band with a damp cloth and a small amount of dish soap, then rinse well and air dry.
